Causeway Dulcimer Festival Photos ~ Art Ward

As some of you will know, in 2005 I organised a Dulcimer Festival up here.
Well recently, I received a bunch of beautiful photos, which were taken at that Causeway Dulcimer Festival by local photographer Art Ward.

Now Art is very keen to promote this wonderful area, so I thought I'd post them here to show you just how much musical fun a festival in North Antrim can be.

The festival was in honour of the late, great Co Antrim Dulcimer player John Rea of Glenarm. However, one of the major aims of the festival was to demonstrate how easy it is to promote instruments from both cultures, rather than just of one culture, which has been the norm, in the past. Hopefully these photos will help to demonstrate how successfully this aim was achieved.
