Hello Michael,
I'm delighted you decided to join us here.
Good luck with your Fiddle playing. You might be interested to know that a Scottish Fiddle player joined our session last Thursday night & he was left handed. It didn't seem to slow him down, but most left handed folk I know are actually quite comfortable playing the fiddle right handed. So if I were you I'd try both ways before you spend money having a fiddle changed from right to left .... just in case!
Cheers Dick

I'd go along with Ptarmigan on the left/right handed thing. I know that one of the most prominent fiddle players in Scotland is left-handed, but plays the fiddle right-handed. It does not hinder him.

I'm left handed, too! And I live Southeastern Alabama. Welcome.
